Introduces middle-schoolers to diverse aspects of science for 3 hours a day over the course of a week. Allows them to connect their scientific learning to personal values and empowers them to create a lasting impact in their communities. The camp includes lessons of five branches of science, snacks, hands-on lab, activities, art, and sports, ending with a parent presentation. Watch your preteen glow with curiosity and confidence as they step into the real world with a kind heart and a ready mind.
Science is powerful — and so are the values that guide its use. At EMBOSS, every lesson connects core scientific principles to real-world service. Whether studying the environment, medicine, or physics, campers reflect on how science can uplift their communities and make meaningful change. It’s not just STEM. It’s STEM with purpose.
Campers leave EMBOSS with more than a notebook full of experiments. They walk away with a sense of who they are and how they can contribute. The week builds not just academic confidence but personal character — blending science, creativity, and physical activity to foster balanced, whole-person growth. You’ll see it in their spark, their stories, and the pride they feel during the parent presentation.
Your child is naturally curious — we help them channel that curiosity into compassion and confidence. At EMBOSS, scientific exploration isn’t just about answers; it’s about asking the right questions, making connections, and discovering how knowledge can serve the greater good. Through hands-on experiments, collaborative projects, and moral reflection, we equip young minds to think critically and care deeply.
